Barely a few hours after the Pittsburgh shooting, President Trump played Pharrell Williams’ song ‘happy’ at a political event.
This didn’t sit well with the singer. In fact, he banned him from using his music.
Williams’ lawyer highlighted his song was used in violation of “copyright infringement” and “trademark rights.”
“There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose.” He added.
