Homemade bombs had been sent to the homes of prominent Democrats and Donald Trump’s critics.
The bombs were packaged in manila envelopes with bubble-wrap lining, according to the FBI. They each bore computer-printed address labels and six American flag stamps.
So far, 10 suspicious packages have been found.
All 10 packages went through the US mail system, according to multiple law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation.
And just as expected from Trump, he took absolutely no responsibility for the current political discourse in the United States.
Instead, in his usual manner, has put the blame on the media.
Three new packages were detected on Thursday — two intended for former Vice President Joe Biden and one for actor-director Robert DeNiro — each bearing the same markings as the seven packages detected earlier this week.
Trump has described people who disagree with him as the ‘enemies of the people’. He has said so many derogatory things about his critics. It is only fair to put some of the blame on him.
He is the President for crying out loud. He is the symbol of authority to his followers. Trump may not know what America needs, but he sure knows what his followers need to hear.

Trump recently asserted that he is a Nationalist and not a globalist. A statement which is regrettably dangerous to both Americans and the rest of the world. For a man who calls himself a nationalist, his attitude and disposition spell something quite different.
Americans may not know how divided their country has become. Threatening substances were sent to people’s houses and there are debates over it? This is scary.
The job of the media is to report the news, to seek accountability and to ask questions. The only person who has been setting a political tone is the president.
From Khashoggi down to CNN, there is no doubt Trump’s attack on the media is beginning to have real-world consequences.
Instead of the President to take responsibility and hold down his country together, he is heating things up the more.
What a small man.
