“I have a natural instinct for science,” says POTUS!

After an interview with Lesley Stahl on 60 minutes where Trump maintained his view on climate change and claimed climate change can “change back” (whatever that means), he is at it yet again, this time he said that he has a “natural instinct for science”.

On Tuesday, in a wide-ranging interview with the Associated Press, Trump was asked what he thinks about a recent report by The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change which states that by 2030, the world’s temperature will rise by 1.5 Celsius, resulting in extreme drought, wildfires, floods, and food shortages. Trump was exactly Trump in his reply. He said “You have scientists on both sides of it. My uncle was a great professor at MIT for many years, Dr. John Trump.”

“And I didn’t talk to him about this particular subject, but I have a natural instinct for science, and I will say that you have scientists on both sides of the picture.”

Okay, I am almost rolling on the floor with laughter as I write this. Wait a minute, so Trump actually feels in his head that he has a natural instinct for science because his uncle was a scientist? And how does anyone even have a natural instinct for science? How Trump’s mind works is just amazing and amusing at the same time.

The Internet, of course, shared their thoughts on this bizarre claim
