“I did not have sexual relations with that woman, these allegations are false.”- Bill Clinton said in the heat of Monica Lewinsky’s scandal.
Bill Clinton was ultimately impeached over the scandal but was acquitted by the Senate and finished his term as President.
In an interview on Sunday morning with CBS, Hillary Clinton was asked if she thinks Bill should have resigned after his affair with Lewinsky came to light, she said: “absolutely not.”
Hillary while referring to multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment leveled against President Donald Trump continued by saying “Where’s the investigation of the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made, and which he dismisses, denies, and ridicules?”
She said she didn’t criticize the character of the women who accused her husband of sexual misconduct. “I take responsibility for my life and actions.”
