“I COULD SAY I’M THE MOST BULLIED PERSON ON WORLD”- Melania Trump

Melania in an interview that took place during her trip this month to Africa, told ABC News “I could say I’m the most bullied person on the world.” When pressed to explain further, the U.S First lady said she could certainly be “one of them, if you really see what people are saying about me.” “This is why my Be Best initiative is focusing on social media and online behavior.”

Perhaps what she perceives is true, one would think that Melania after having lived with the world’s biggest bully A.K.A Donald Trump, would have gotten used to being bullied. Well, I guess no one gets used to being bullied. But how in the world does the wife of the President of the United States of America feel she’s being bullied?

To experts who study bullying and work to prevent it, the suggestion was absurd.

“It’s really crazy to say that she is being bullied,” said Fred Rivara, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington and expert on child bullying. For an interaction to meet the threshold of bullying, he explained, it must involve an imbalance of power.

“The big thing here with Melania Trump is she’s the one in power,” Rivara said. “Her husband is the president of the United States. So how can she say that she’s bullied?”
