Back in 2008, Taylor wrote on a website called MySpace, “Republicans do it better”. Although she never mentioned in what context she wrote those words, since that post, unlike her fellow celebrities who have at one point or the other signaled at what camp they belonged, she has maintained silence on the subject of her politics, and so the Republicans took it that she was one of them.
Taylor broke her silence in a lengthy Instagram post last night. She announced that she would be voting for two Democrats in Tennessee in the upcoming mid-term elections.
