Because we have not stoned them,

Founding member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Prince Tony Momoh during the buildup of the 2015 general elections called on Nigerians to stone the APC Government if they do not live up to expectation.

“Stone us,” Momoh said confidently if within two years the current government fails to reverse the situation, even as he stressed that this government is laying the foundation for a new and better country.

“Nigerians are complaining of bad roads. But what happened to the several billions of money voted for road construction and rehabilitation under the Jonathan government? If we complain about security challenges, what happened to the billions of dollars voted to fight the insurgency, which some people mismanaged, the same with power and other necessary infrastructure?” he asked.

More than three (3) years later, the situation has degenerated. The country is in a lot of debt and these monies borrowed cannot be accounted for.

Why have we not stoned them?

Don’t even get mad that they are heavily coming on for 2019. The president is currently in Osogbo with his ‘goons’. More than 40,000 policemen have been deployed there too. They are audaciously going about, carrying out their campaign.

Why?

Because we are yet to stone them.
